New Delhi, May 29 (ANI/Business Wire India): Rajat Sharma's India TV has emerged as the undisputed joint Number One hindi news channel for yet another week.

The story of India TV's robust performance, neck-to-neck with Aaj Tak, continued across all important TGs, viz, CS 15+ ABC where India TV is at 20 per cent (Aaj Tak is at 19.5 per cent); CS M25+ ABC where India TV is at 19.4 per cent (Aaj Tak is at 19.3 per cent); CS F 25+ ABC where India TV is at 21 per cent (Aaj Tak is at 19.3 per cent); CS 25+ ABC where India TV is at 20.1 per cent (Aaj Tak is at 19.3 per cent); and CS 25+ SECA where India TV is at 21.5 per cent (Aaj Tak is at 19.8 per cent).

The data is in line with Sharma's promise to viewers and advertisers that India TV will comprehensively outperform all news channels in the competition, including Star News, Zee News, NDTV India, IBN7 and the others.

At 42 minutes time spent per viewer in Week 21 (all day average) in CS 15+ HSM, India TV continues to deliver much higher than any other Hindi news channel, including Aaj Tak which is way behind at 34 minutes and Star News which is at 31 minutes.

Independent News Services (INS) chairman and India TV Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma expressed quiet satisfaction at this team effort and promised that the channel will soon achieve "the next frontier."
