RJD demands cancellation of BPSC competitive examination
Patna, May 29 (UNI) The RJD today demanded cancellation of BPSC competitive examination following detection of discrepencies in question papers during the May 25 preliminary test.
State spokesperson of the party Shakeel Ahmad Khan told newspersons here that the Nitish government had failed to conduct fair competitive examination thereby meting injustice to the deserving students.
Sixty questions were missing in the Set C series of the question papers of the competitive examination held on May 25, he pointed out.
'' It appears that this was a deliberate attempt of the Nitish Kumar government to extend favour to some select candidates having patronages of influential persons,'' he said and added that holding the fresh examination after cancellation of the earlier competitive test was the only way out to foil the sinister design of the vested interests.
Mr Khan also alleged largescale irregularities in the competitive examination conducted by the state staff selection commission for recruitment of Sub Inspectors. The percentage of minorities students selected in various competitive examinations had also declined during the Nitish Kumar regime in comparison with erstwhile Lalu-Rabri regime.
