HSC results: Girls top the lists all over Gujarat

Ahmedabad, May 29 (UNI) Girls topped all the lists at local and state levels in the Higher Secondary Certificate results of general stream declared today.

The passing per cent of girls touched 92.87 but the boys could reach only till 82.30 per cent. Except Rajkot, no other major city boys were figured in the merit list. There are no boy in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat merit list. The same situation was witnessed in district merit list. In the top 10 list of 27 districts there are 247 girls while the number of boys only 94.

Jamnagar, Bharuch, Mehsana, Vadodara, Valsad and Porbander are the districts where boys could not hit the merit list.

Girls had dominated HSC science stream results too that was declared earlier this month.
