London, May 29 : England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and his teammates are being forced to sweat over their share of the Stanford Twenty20 loot.

High-level talks are taking place about how to divide the 10-million-pound from the proposed match with the West Indies in Antigua on November 1.

The Sun quoted England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) CEO David Collier as saying that: "Discussions are at an advanced stage but we will not be making an announcement this week."

England's contracted players want 50,000 pounds per man, but Texan billionaire Sir Allen Stanford prefers it to be a winner-takes-all affair.

Stanford believes if the players receive a guaranteed fee, the impact of the occasion is watered down. He wants drama and money resting on a dropped catch or a big six.
