The content of the mail indicates that Dr Talwar objected to something Aarushi had done and that she was justifying it. I just wnted to try it out coz I heard 4rom mah frndz n (name concealed) too….n even (name concealed) so wotz da harm…I wnt do it again nd I kinda noe hw u r feelin" (I just wanted to try it out because I heard from my friends and XYZ too... and even ABC so what's the harm.. .I want to do it again and I kind of know how you are feeling)
In the e-mail, Aarushi also thanks her parents, saying she loved “hanging around" with them and requests them to allow her something for “one time". I love hangin….arnd wid u guyz ...thnkz 4 everythin…bt one time…..a smile….will show up 4eva…thanku mum and dad… Take care
The police maintain Aarushi was defiant and Dr Talwar objected to something that she did. Police also indicate she came “in contact with three boys" and part of the evidence is a set of transcripts of Internet chats and SMS text she exchanged with them.
The police report wants to establish Aarushi's social behaviour on the basis of these chats. In fact the report says her e-mail/messages to the boys “says a lot about her social behaviour". However, the transcripts seem typical of teenagers communicating. Two weeks after her murder, this is all the evidence UP police has submitted in the court. Top sources in the UP police reveal they have messed up the case and claim they arrested Dr Talwar because of political pressure. Also, sources in the CBI say they were unwilling to take up the case, something that top UP police officials said they agreed with.
