CBSE declares Class X results for Delhi, Ajmer

New Delhi, May 29: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared Class X results for five regions, including Delhi and Ajmer. The board websites--, and are hosting from 0800 hrs the results for students from Delhi, Ajmer, Panchkula, Allahabad and Guwahati regions.

Chennai region results had already been declared on Tuesday. This year, over 7.65 lakh students appeared for the standard X examinations. In Delhi region, 2.19 lakh pupils wrote the examination, registering an increase of 5.68 per cent over the previous year. The Board, this year, had introduced redesigned High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question paper. Based on the National Curriculum Framework-2005, the new design included about 10 per cent very short answer questions and about 20 per cent questions to assess HOTS.
