Bolaria sworn in as MLA from Amritsar South

Chandigarh, MAY 29 (UNI) Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Nirmal Singh Kahlon today administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected MLA from Amritsar South Inderbir Singh Bolaria in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal here in his chamber.

Disclosing this here today a spokesmen of the Punjab government said that Mr Badal blessed Mr Bolaria and wished him a bright future to serve the people of his constituency with firm commitment and missionary zeal, who had reposed faith in him.

Mr Inderbir Singh Bolaria has been elected as a Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Amritsar South constituency which had fallen vacant after the death of his father SAD MLA Raminder Singh Bolaria.

The swearing in ceremony was attended by Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Ranjit Singh Brahampura, Revenue Minister Ajit Singh Kohar, Information, Public Relations and Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Health and Family Welfare Avinash Chander, Advisor to Chief Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, MLA Tarn Taran Harmit Singh Sandhu, MLA Valtoha Virsa Singh Valtoha, MLA Verka Dr Dalbir Singh.

The family members of Mr Bolaria including his mother, sister and brother-in-law were also present on the occasion.
