Shimla, May 29: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said Ayurveda system of medicine and Yoga was gaining popularity all over the world and had the potential to boost country's health tourism.
"Both Ayurvedic system of medicine and Yoga were invented ages ago by our saints and sages and now even foreigners had realised their importance in ensuring overall well being, he said while addressing people after visiting the Sai Seva Sansthan at Pujarli, near here, last evening.
Mr Dhumal also emphasised the need to educate school children about Yoga, which would make them physically and mentally strong to take on future responsibilities.
He expressed satisfaction over the organisation's efforts in promoting ancient educational culture coupled with modern education.
Local legislator Suresh Bhardwaj, Shimla Deputy Commissioner J S Rana and SP RM Sharma were also present on the occasion.
