Patrick Swayze responding well to cancer treatment

Washington, May 28 : Patrick Swayze has revealed that he is continuing to respond well to his cancer treatment.

The 'Dirty Dancing' star is leaving no stone unturned to enjoy his life to the fullest.

Swayze said that he along with wife Lisa Niemi is busy moving back and forth between L.A. and their ranch in New Mexico and had just returned home from a weekend trip to Reno to celebrate Lisa's birthday.

"I took her jewellery shopping at Kenny G and Company and [we] were able to find her something really special and much deserved!" E! Online quoted him as saying.

The 55-year-old actor, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer said that he continues to respond well to the treatment, reports People.

"In the meantime, I am continuing treatment at Stanford [University Medical Center] and the great news is I continue to respond well," he added.
