Narcotic reports in Shashi murder case submitted in court
Faizabad, May 28 (UNI) Sensational Shasi murder case accused Vijay Sen Yadav's narcotics and polygraph test reports were produced in the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court here today.
Senior Superintendent of Police R K S Rathore here told UNI that the reports are being studied in detail, however, he refused to comment anything over the report results.
On October 22 last year, Law student Shashi went missing under mysterious circumstances. The case regarding the same was registered on October 23.
Former state minister Anand Sen's driver Vijay Sen Yadav was the main accused in the case.
On October 27, Yadav's bail was rejected and he was sent to jail.
On November 6, the state government ordered a CBI probe into the case, besides the state minister Anand Sen gave his resignation to the governemnt.
IG (Lucknow zone) A K Jain has sought court's permission for narcotic and polygraph test of the accused, who had changed his testimony several times.
On December 17, court permitted the police to go ahead with the test.
