Infosys Technologies inks deal with BBVA
New Delhi, May 28: Infosys Technologies today said it has signed an agreement to implement Finacle Universal Banking Solution at financial services group BBVA.
BBVA, one of the top 15 global banks, plans to invest 5.6 billion euros in the technology over the next three years and its 'innovation and transformational' plan, launched in 2007, aims at improving cost efficiencies and productivity. The bank will start the transformation exercise in BBVA Banco (Paraguay) and will implement Finacle core banking, customer relationship management (CRM), treseaury and wealth management solutions.
''We are delighted to partner with BBVA for this strategic project. Finacle combined with the comprehensive services offering from Infosys will offer a truely differentiating proposition to BBVA to achieve their global transformation objectives,'' Infosys Technologies co-chairman Nandan Nilekani said in a statement.
