Gurjar dacoits threaten to blow off Raje's palace
Jaipur, May 28: Notorious dactoit chieftain Jagan Gurjar and Ram Vilas Gurjar last night threatned to blow off Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's palace in Dholpur if the demand of agitating Gujjar community was not conceded within 72 hours.
The dacoits conveyed the threat to a leading Hindi daily in Jaipur over telephone. They had conveyed that they would take this drastic step only out of compulsion if the state government did not accept the Gujjar community's justified demand. The dacoits have been reportedly present at Pilukapura where the Gujjars are sitting at dharna since May 23 seeking ST status for the community. Dacoits said that they had decided to support the ongoing Gujjar agitation on their own.
Reacting over the dacoits reported threat, the Chief Minister has refused to give up and said she would not deviate from her duty as Chief Minister in the wake of any threat.
