As per the MoU, training would be given to officials in the Revenue Department for carrying out the survey by using sophisticated equipment and setting up a Ground Control Point Network, a facility used for preparing accurate survey document in the state.

As a pilot project, the method would be used in Kasargod for the survey and if it was found successful, it would be carried out in other areas, he added.

Mr Rajendran said necessary instructions had been given to the revenue department to settle complaints where a survey was completed.
