DoT allots 4.4 MHz Spectrum to Unitech in AP

New Delhi, May 28: Unitech Ltd today said it has been allotted initial Spectrum of 4.4 MHz in four service areas in Andhra Pradesh by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

''The DoT, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India has issued a letter to the company's subsidiary for allotment of 4.4 MHz of Spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in respect of Andhra Pradesh Service Area,'' the company said in a statement here. With this, the company has been allotted Spectrum in four service areas out of the total 22 areas, the statement added.
