CBSE to declare Class X results tomorrow

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will tomorrow declare Class X results for five regions, including Delhi and Ajmer.

Students from Delhi, Ajmer, Panchkula, Allahabad and Guwahati regions can access the results on the board websites--, and from 0800 hrs.

Chennai region results were declared yesterday.

The Board has directed schools in the Delhi region to collect the results from the respective Deputy Director of Education after 1400 hrs tomorrow.

The results will not be available at the Board office and the public has been advised not to come to its office for the same, a Board official said.

This year, more than 7.65 lakh students appeared for the Class X examinations. In the Delhi region, 2.19 lakh pupils wrote the examination, registering an increase of 5.68 per cent over the previous year.

The Board, this year, had introduced redesigned High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question paper. Based on the National Curriculum Framework--2005, the new design included about 10 per cent of very short answer questions and about 20 per cent of questions to assess HOTS.
