Bangalore, May 28 (UNI) BJP Legislature Party leader B S Yeddyurappa, who will be sworn in as Karnataka Chief Minister on Friday, today said the process of finalising his Cabinet was on and it would be completed in a day or two.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said, ''who should be included in the new ministry would be decided only after holding discussions with the party national leaders.'' Asked whether the Cabinet formation would be done in one or more installments, he said there was no concrete discussion on it yet.
Party sources said the new Cabinet would adopt a ''please-all'' approach, giving priority to representation based on caste, community, region, old and new faces, and women.
Former Ministers Jagdish Shettar, K S Eshwarappa, D H Shankaramurthy and V S Acharya were likely to be included in the new ministry, the sources said.
They said Mr Yeddyurappa was likely to take oath along with more than a dozen Ministers on May 30 on the portals of Vidhan Soudha, the seat of the state government.
BJP national leaders and party Chief Ministers would witness the swearing-in-ceremony, marking the formation of the first BJP government in the South, they said.
Mr Yeddyurappa said he would be visiting New Delhi on June 1 to take part in the party's national executive.
