Mumbai, May 28 (UNI) Bollywood personalities, including Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra will walk the ramp with creations from India's top fashion designers at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Fashion event to be held from June 6 to June 8 at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok.
''The show will create a platform that will allow the world to witness the beauty India has,'' Wizcraft International Entertainment Director Sabbas Joeseph said at the curtain raiser here yesterday.
The fashion show, hosted by Karan Johar and choreographed by Lubna Adams will see Kareena display Manish Malhotra's creation, Vidya will wear Sabyasachi's collection and Priyanka and Harman Baweja will showcase Rohit Bal's designs.
The show will also include 25 Thai and 15 Indian models displaying jewellery from Gitanjali. Proceeds from the show will go to the IIFA Foundation that supports families of workers adversely affected during film production.
''With more than 600 million viewers expected, the IIFA is a great platform to showcase talents,'' actor Vivek Oberoi said. He will showcase the costumes and look of his forthcoming movie -- ''Mission Istanbul'' at the fashion show.
The event will host screening of Indian cinema including premier of Ram Gopal Verma's ''Sarkar Raaj'', the IIFA Business Forums and award ceremonies.
