14 Trains cancelled; some suspended/diverted partially
Jaipur, May 28 (UNI) As many as 14 trains were cancelled while three were terminated on the way before their destinations, due to obstructions and damages to rail tracks by Gujjar protesters at different points in Rajasthan today.
Four long distance trains were diverted via Delhi, a Railway spokesman said here.
Run of 304/303 Bandikui-Agra Fort, 2987 Jaipur-Gwalior Express, 356/355 Agra bound Agra Fort-Bandikui Passenger, 1/2 MA Mathura bound Mathura-Alwar Passenger, Udaipur bound 2963 Nizamuddin-Udaipur Express, Nizamuddin bound 2964 Udaipur-Nizamuddin Express, 2307 Jodhpur bound Howrah-Jodhpur Superfast, 2988 Jaipur bound Gwalior Jaipur Express, 2965 Udaipur bound Jaipur-Udaipur Express, 2966 Jaipur bound Udaipur-Jaipur Express, 0526 Gorakhpur bound Ahmadabad- Gorakhpur Express, 181 Jaipur bound Kota-Ajmer Passenger, 182 Kota bound Ajmer-Kota Passenger and 2308 Howrah bound Jodhpur-Howrah Superfast were cancelled.
Besides this, 195/196 Jaipur-Bayana-Jaipur Passenger remained suspended between Sawai-Madhopur-Bayana, 1MAB/2MAB Bandikui-Mathura- Bandikui Passenger remained suspended between Alwar and Mathura and 183/184 Bhiwani-Mathura-Bhiwani remained suspended between Mathura and Alwar.
4864 Varanasi bound Jodhpur-Varanasi Marudhar Express was diverted via Rewari-Delhi, 2308 Howrah bound Jodhpur-Howrah Express was diverted via Rewari-Delhi, 5631 Guwahati bound Barmer-Guwahati Express was diverted via Rewari-Delhi and 4963 Jodhpur bound Varanasi-Jodhpur Marudhar Express was also diverted via Delhi-Rewari.
