Sutil down but not out after Monaco disaster

By Staff
{image-adrian sutil_27052008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Monaco, May 27: Despite missing a career best fourth place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix, a heartbroken Force India driver Adrian Sutil is determined to take positives from the race.

''Monaco was an amazing race for me. It was like last year, but this one was even better. I had so many laps, I was racing other cars and doing fastest laps. It was one of my best races,'' Sutil told mediapersons here. ''It was a big boost and a very good one for me. I started the season with some problems. The last couple of races went better and better, especially in Monaco. We have to concentrate on forgetting this race. There were many positive things, to go on with our work and try to get to the front,'' he added.

Sutil's fairytale story at Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix had an unexpected villain in Raikkonen who rammed into the back of the Force India car, bringing the youngster's campaign to a premature end when he was just three laps away from a dream-come-true fourth place finish.

Force India subsequently lodged a complaint about Raikkonen in the stewards' office but the issue was defused after the Ferrari driver apologised to Sutil.
