Power hungry Maharashtra to get 800 MW
Mumbai, May 27 (UNI) Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today said Maharashtra would get 800 MW power in this month.
Talking to reporters after meeting with Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Maharashtra Power Minister Dilip Walse-Patil and others, Mr Shinde said 300 MW would be received from Ratnagiri power project while 500 MW would be given additionally by the Centre from the National grid.
He added the state would also get 50 per cent power from the nuclear power project of 4,000 MW, which is proposed and going to comeup in Konkan.
