Losing early matches put us on back foot: Vinay Kumar
Bangalore, May 27 (UNI) Speedster Vinay Kumar today said that Royal Challengers will put up a brave fight in the tomorrow's match against Mumbai team to finish the league on a winning note.
Talking to reporters here after net practice he said, "we made mistakes in losing early games, but tomorrow we want to win. This will help us sign off on a winning note and start on a better frame of mind next season." Replying to a question, he said that Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasurya formed a formidable opening pair. However this will not overawe the home team as it was focused on winning the match.
"They are good openers, but we have to bowl well against them tomorrow," he added.
To another question, he said that there was no pressure from the crowd and it was supportive. "We have to perform well tomorrow and win the game to make them happy," he added.
