New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Delhi Daredevils' hat-trick boy Amit Mishra today said he was confident that his team would reach the semi-final of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Talking to mediapersons here after a practise session at Feroz Shah Kotla, Mishra said, '' I was totally confident that my team will reach in the semi-finals.'' Last night Rajathan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by five wickets to clear Daredevils' way to the semi-final.
''Even when Rajasthan Royals needed 32 runs in two overs, I was sure that the hosts would win the match and we will reach the semis,'' he said.
The 25-year-old leg spinner, who took a hat-trick against Deccan Chargers, further added that he was happy with his performance in the IPL so far.
''My job is to bowl well and win matches for my team while hat-trick is something that you don't see everyday from a player,'' he added.
So far, Mishra has claimed nine wickets at an average of 11.22 in five matches.
He further exuded confidence that he and his team will continue their good performances in the knockout stage of the tournament to make it to the final.
