Gulbarga records highest temperature 41.3 degree celsius
Bangalore, May 27 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Bagalkote 5; Shirali, Karwar, Hungund, Tyagarthi, Kollegal, M.M.Hills 3 each; Sirsi, Yellapura, Nanjangud 2 each; Udupi, Hanumasagar, Talaguppa 1 each.
Maximum Temperatures fell appreciably at most places over Coastal Karnataka and fell at a few places over Interior Karnataka.
They were above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; however below normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.3 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
