18-member squad to represent Delhi at National Senior Athletics

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) An 18-member squad has been selected to represent Delhi in the 48th National Senior Interstate Athletics Championships to be held at Madurai from June 15 to 18.

In the mens' section, Amit Khanna is expected to pose a strong challenge in the 100 and 200 metre events.

Vinod Kumar in triple jump is also a contender for a medal.

In the womens' section, Priyanka Bhanot (decathlon) will be a good bet for a medal while Poonam Tomar (100m, 200m) will also look forward to podium finish.
