Ting Tings top UK album charts with debut album
London, May 26 : Pop duo 'The Ting Tings' have topped the UK's album charts with their debut release 'We Started Nothing'.
The pair, Katie White and Jules de Martino, has gained the top position in the countdown after beating Neil Diamond's 'Home Before Dark', which stood at second, reports the BBC.
However, the duo was defeated at the number one in the singles chart, by Rihanna's 'Take A Bow', which rose one place.
That still didn't stop them from taking the number one slot last week in this category with their single 'That's Not My Name'.
At the third place stood British singer-songwriter, Duffy, with her new album Rockferry, which was released on Polydor in March this year.
Rounding up at the fourth and fifth position in the countdown was Scooter's album 'Jumping All Over The World' and Pendulum's 'In Silico' respectively.
The list for the UK Top Five Albums is:
1. The Ting Tings - We Started Nothing
2. Neil Diamond - Home Before Dark
3. Duffy - Rockferry
4. Scooter - Jumping All Over The World
5. Pendulum - In Silico
