PGTI Players Championship to begin on May 28

Chandigarh, May 26 (UNI) The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) today announced the 'PGTI Players Championships', a series of four events, wherein each zone of the country will host one event, every season.

The first PGTI Players Championship, a Rs 30 lakh event, will be played here at the Chandigarh Golf Club from May 28 to 31.

The Pro-Am event will be played tomorrow in which 30 top professionals will participate alongwith 90 other amateur players of the Club.

The PGTI Players Championship at Chandigarh Golf Club is expected to witness a thrilling contest as all the top professionals from the PGTI such as Gaurav Ghei, Digvijay Singh, Rahul Ganapathy, Shamim Khan, Arjun Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Gaganjeet Bhullar, Harmeet Kahlon, Amandeep Johl and Harendra Gupta to name a few would be competing at the event.
