Congress submits memorandum to Governor on Gujjar agitation
Jaipur, May 26 (UNI) The Opposition Congress today submitted memorandum to Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh demanding Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to step down in the wake of Gujjar agitation.
The district unit of the Congress presented the memorandum to District Collectors in respective districts for forwarding the same to the Rajbhawan.
In Jaipur, a party delegation submitted the memorandum to the Governor at the Rajbhawan.
The Congress in its memorandum held that the Raje government had lost moral authority to rule the state after its "failure" in dealing with the Gujjar agitation.
The Opposition party also urged the Governor to intervene.
