New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) The Delhi Police has busted a transnational network involved in this supply of LSD (Lysergide Diethylamide) Acid with the arrest of a German national.
Christian Fell alias Joy was arrested by the Narcotics branch of the Delhi Police from the Paharganj area on the midnight of May 19 while he had come for delivery of consignment of LSD. Hundred gm charas and 13 gm LSD was recovered from his possession.
An FIR has been filed against him under the NDPS Act.
A resident of Pune in Maharashtra, 37-year-old Christian Fell, who arrived in Indian in 1998, had been involved in buying and selling Charas in areas like Mandi and Kathmandu. Later, he began selling LSD in several metropolitan cities.
This is the first seizure of LSD by the Narcotics branch of the Delhi Police. The seized LSD is commercial quantity in terms of the NDPS Act and is enough for approximately 1000 dosages for those seeking a 'trip' on this psychedelic drug.
