BJP condemns DYFI attacks on ashrams
Kochi, May 26 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala today condemned the attacks by DYFI activists on ashrams under the guise of a crackdown on 'pseudo swamis'.
Speaking to reporters here, BJP Kerala Vice-President A N Radhakrishnan said, ''there is a law of the land and no organisation has the right to take law into their own hands.'' ''If DYFI continues with their attacks, the party will chalk out an action plan to resist them,'' he added.
He alleged that State Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran, who had attended a programme of 'fraud swami' Harinarayanan, was trying to bail him out from a fake currency note case. ''The connection between the Minister and the swami should be probed and truth brought to light,'' he said.
