Randhawa moves to tied 4th in BMW Open

By Staff

Virginia Water, UK, May 25 (UNI) Ace Indian pro Jyoti Randhawa put up one of the only three sub-70 scores of the day as he leapt to tied fourth after the penultimate round at the Euro 4.5 million BMW PGA Championship here.

On a day when the West Course of the Wentworth Club bared it fangs, Randhawa picked up a show on the par-five fourth hole and the 15th hole double bogey was the lone blot in an otherwise impeccable card.

Randhawa had four birdies in his back nine alone to join overnight leader Paul McGinley (79) and Daniel Vancsik (72) at six-under 210.

At the top, Robert Karlsson's (206) impressive round of 70 fetched him the lead while Miguel Angel Jimenez (72) of Spain and Oliver Wilson (73) of England are following him closely from three shots behind.
