Jaipur, May 24 (UNI) Taking another initiative for a truce, the Rajasthan Government tonight invited Gujjar Reservation Action Committee Convener Col Kirodi Singh Bainsla to hold talks tomorrow to resolve amicably the Gujjar agitation issue.
The Gujjar leader, who has been spearheading the Gujjar agitation seeking ST status for the community, was invited to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) here tomorrow at 1100 hrs to hold talks with Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, an official spokesman said.
Earlier, talking to reporters here this evening, Industries Minister Digambar Singh said the doors for a dialogue for amicable solution were always open for the Gujjar leaders.
Notably, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataira also spoke to Col Bainsla, on the eve of the launch of the ''Rail Roko'' to persuade him to withdraw the agitation.
Arrest warrants were also pending against Col Bainsla.
