Cong failed to curb terrorism due to ''weak will power'': Joshi
Allahabad, May 24 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and former HRD minister Murli Manohar Joshi charged the Congress-led UPA government with failing on all fronts in its four-year-old regime at the Centre.
The BJP leader alleged in a press conference here that the central government has failed on every front from terrorism to internal security and from inflation to development.
''Government's policies on the border and interior security are totally ''uncertain'' and ''confused'', as a result China is now also claiming it's share of land in Sikkim,'' he said.
Mr Joshi, criticised the government for its ''weak will power'' to control insurgency and terrorism. He said the Supreme Court had directed to implement stringent laws to control terrorism, still government was not thinking on it in priority and only seems interested in forming a federal agency.
''A common cogitation on some issues is important in democratic countries like India, because the policies might not work here that has achieved success in other developing countries,'' he added.
Expressing concern over the price-hike in essential commodities, the Former Minister said the Central government is misguiding citizens on the issue of price hike.
