New Delhi, May 23: City-based low-cost airline SpiceJet today completed three years of operation.
The airline started operations with three aircraft flying to five destinations, and has grown to 17 flights to 17 destinations. It has also received its 18th aircraft. ''This year, we will take delivery of five more aircraft '' company Executive Chairman Siddhanta Sharma said. SpiceJet was also awarded the Best Low Cost Airline for 2007 by Travel Agents Fedration of India. The company also plans to raise 100 million dollars for fleet expansion by the end of the current financial year.
