Musharraf to vacate army house in July
Islamabad, May 23: Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf, who is currently residing in the army house, will move to President house here in July.
Gen (retd) Musharraf, who had stepped down as the army chief in November last year and vacated the post for his close confidant General Ashfaq Parvaiz Kiyani, is often criticised by politicians and ex-servicemen for not vacating the official residence of the chief of army staff in the garrison town of Rawalpindi. The president's Camp Office at the army house, which also served as official residence of Pakistani Prime Ministers till late 1980s will be closed after Musharraf moves to the President House.
