Kingfisher to operate direct flight from Vadodara to Bangalore
Bangalore, May 23 (UNI) Kingfisher Airlines today announced the launch of its daily flight to Vadodara from here from June one.
The airline, in a release here, said the flights on this new route will be operated using brand new Airbus A320 family aircraft, featuring personalised in-flight entertainment in every seat, gourmet cuisine and world class service.
With the launch of these new services, Kingfisher Airlines would now have more than 252 departures a day and serve 38 destinations with a fleet of 42 brand new aircraft.
Commenting on the launch of these new sectors, Mr Siva Ramachandran, company Vice-President (Global Sales), said ''the launch of a daily direct flight from Vadodara to Bangalore will offer travellers from Gujarat excellent connectivity with South India, with Bangalore serving as a gateway for all inbound and outbound traffic between these two regions.
''Besides catering to the demand from traders and entrepreneurs in the cosmopolitan city of Vadodara and the neighbouring region, the new daily direct flight from Vadodara to Bangalore was also targeted at PSUs, SME companies operating in the engineering, manufacturing, automotive, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors'', he added.
