HC reserves verdict in police recruitment scam case
Allahabad, May 23 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today reserved its verdict in police recruitment scam case, wherein services of about 23,000 police constables were dismissed by the order of Uttar Pradesh government after a probe panel report.
This order was passed by Justice D P Singh on a writ petition filed by dismissed police constables.
The series of police constables recruited during 2005-06 were dismissed after a probe panel report, headed by a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Shailja Kant Mishra.
The state government had also suspended 25 IPS officers in this scam case and had lodged FIR against them.
