Chandigarh, May 23 (UNI) Chandigarh players bagged all four singles titles at stake in the All India Tennis Association Talent Series Tennis Championship which concluded at the CLTA Tennis Stadium here today.
Prabhamrit Kaur executed her shots on both sides of the sidelines as she stunned top seeded Jaspreet Kaur of Punjab in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 in the girls Under-16 singles final.
Bhavya Wadhawan, a sixth class student of Sacred Heart, Sector 26, got the better of spirited sixth seed Hassan Dhanoa in the girls Under-12 singles final. They displayed their best form in the first set which extended to the tie-breaker before eighth seed Bhavya won in tie-breaker at 7-6 (4). Having won the first set, Bhavya, who trains at St Peter's Tennis Academy in Sector 37, was on top and clinched the second set at 6-2.
Unseeded Sachin Kumar denied fifth seeded Vikas Benwal of Yamunanagar (Haryana) a golden double as the former raced to an authoritative 6-2, 6-1 triumph in the boys under-12 singles final.
Vikas Benwal had earlier won the boys Under-12 doubles final.Vikas Berwal and Rohil Hakim defeated Sumit Pal and Dhruv Pal 7-6 (2), 1-6, 10-7 in the doubles final.
Pankaj Kumar of Chandigarh) ended the challenge of second seed Harry Jindal of Punjab 7-5, 6-2 in the boys Under-16 singles final.
Former Punjab Director General of Police Sarabjit Singh was the chief guest and distributed the prizes. Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association chairman Rajan Kashyap was also present on the occasion.

Girls Under-14 singles: Prabhamrit Kaur (Chandigarh) bt Jaspreet Kaur (Punjab) 6-3, 6-0.
