Lucknow, May 23 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today protested the 'anti-farmer' attitude of both the Uttar Pradesh and the Central government.
Thousands of workers participated in the agitation, which was held near Vidhan Bhawan under the banner of party's Kisan Morcha, sources said.
The mob marched towards Raj Bhawan, but was intercepted in Hazratganj itself.
Later, a delegation of Kisan Morcha handed over a memorandum addressed to Governor in Vidhan Bhawan.
The memoradum demanded cancellation of Ganga Expressway project and artifical rain in drought - hit Bundelkhand.
