Jaipur blasts: Huji militant held in Connaught Place
New Delhi, May 22: Police have arrested a suspected Huji militant from Connaught Place area here and recovered more than three kg of deadly RDX from his possession. Abdul Rahman, in his thirties, was arrested by the sleuths of the Special cell from Chelmsford road at about 2030 hrs yesterday, said a senior police official.
Rahman, during interrogation, led the police to the Janak Puri area from where 3.1 kg of RDX, five detonators and a timer were recovered. ''We are interrogating him and trying to find out whether he is a member of the sleeper cell of the terror outfit. We are also trying to find out if he or any of his associates has any connection with the recent Jaipur serial blasts,'' the official added.
