Raj Govt amends service rules to employ kins of blasts' victims
Jaipur, May 22 (UNI) Rajasthan Government has amended the Rajasthan Subordinate Office Clerical Staff Service Rules, 1999, and Rajasthan Fourth Class Service (Recruitment and Service Condition) Rules, 1999, to pave way for employment to next of the kin of victims of riots, terrorist attacks, agitations and rallies.
According to amended service rules, the people of above categories could now be employed in government jobs by the recruiting authority on recommendation from the concerned District Collector and due consent from the Home and Personnel Departments.
The state government had announced to provide employment to the dependents, next of kin of victims of serial blasts in Jaipur and those whose kins had died during violence or police firings during Gujjar agitation in May-June last year.
