London, May 22 : It's official: Troubled singer Amy Winehouse will be performing at the Glastonbury festival.
The June 28 event is set to be headlined by JAY-Z.
In fact, speculations indicate that if 24-year-old Winehouse turns up for the event, she will also make a reappearance to join the rapper on stage for a duet.
Though Amy's life has been a box of troubles, festival organisers insisted that the announcement to rope in the rock-starlet was not down to "issues to do with her personal life".
"We just wanted to make sure her team was happy with the arrangements," The Sun quoted a festival spokesman, as saying. Meanwhile, in one of the recent incidents, Winehouse kept her driver waiting for 13 long hours outside her home in Camden, London and explained her delay by telling him on the intercom that she was just "putting on her shoes."
