Unitech subsidiary receives 4.4 MHz spectrum in Kerala circle
New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Real estate major Unitech Ltd today said its subsidiary has received 4.4 MHz of spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in the Kerala circle.
''The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a letter on May 21, 2008 to the subsidiary company for allotment of 4.4 MHz of spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in respect of Kerala Service Area,'' a company statement said.
The government has already allocated start-up spectrum to new telecom players like Shyam Telelink (for CDMA services) and Datacom in the Kerala circle.
Tata Teleservices has also got GSM spectrum in Kerala under the dual technology clause.
