Sachin wins toss; asks Punjab King's XI to bat

Mumbai, May 21 (UNI) Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and elected to field against Punjab King's XI in their DLF Indian Premier League Twenty20 match being played at the Wankhede stadium here today.

Mumbai Indians made changes from the team that played against Chennai Super Kings with Shaun Pollock coming in after missing the last match through injury. Other changes include Srikant Chitnis, Vikrant Yelligati and Dwayne Smith coming in place of Dwayne Bravo who has returned to the West Indies for the Test series against Australia, Rohan Raje, Yogesh Takawale and Dominic Thornley.

Punjab King's XI made one change from their last match bringing in Tanmay Srivastava for off spinner Ramesh Powar.

Mumbai Indians with six wins in 10 matches are on 12 points and are placed fourth on the eight team table, while Punjab King's XI with seven wins and three losses in 10 matches are placed second in the points table with 14 points.

The Teams: Mumbai Indians : Sachin Tendulkar (c), Shaun Pollock, Sanath Jayasuriya, Robin Uthappa, Dwayne Smith, Abhishek Nayar, Pinal Shah, Srikant Chitnis, Vikrant Yelligati, Dilhara Fernando, Ashish Nehra.

Punjab King's XI: Shaun Marsh, James Hopes, Luke Pomersbach, Yuvraj Singh (c), Mahela Jayawardene, Tanmay Srivastava, Irfan Pathan, Uday Kaul (wk), Piyush Chawla, Sreesanth, VRV Singh Umpires: Billy Bowden (New Zealand), G A Pratpakumar (India).
