Bhopal, May 21 (UNI) Light rainfall occurred at isolated in Rewa, Sagar and Gwalior divisions in Madhya Pradesh overnight even as other parts of the state continued to reel under severe heat.
Sidhi and Khajuraho turned out to be hottest place recording 43 degree Celsius. Maximum temperature hovered around 36-40 C at other towns, while minimum was around 24-28 C.
Jabalpur recorded a high of 40.8 C, one degree below normal, while the minimum was 28.9 C, three notches above normal, while Satna recorded maximum and minimum temperatures of 38.3 C, four marks below normal, and 26.8 C respectively.
