Filmy channel launches ''Kya Aap Paanchvi Fail Champu Hain?''
Mumbai, May 21 (UNI) Entertainment channel Filmy has launched its new show ''Kya Aap Paanchvi Fail Champu Hain?'' that will be anchored by comedian Sunil Grover, whose claim to fame is mimicking Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
The show is a spoof on another show hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and will predictably have Grover imitating the Bollywood actor. The channel and Grover also had a successful run with a spoof- ''Kaun Banega Champu'', based on the hugely successful ''Kaun Banega Crorepati'', also hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
''Following the popularity of 'Kaun Banega Champu', especially in north India, we are back with a new show that spoofs the same actor.
It is a way of paying tribute to the biggest actor in Bollywood'', Senior Programming Supervisor Suchita Shah said at the launch.
Talking to UNI, Shah said, the uniqueness of the show is not so much the originality, but the humour, wit and mimicking skills of Grover.
The show will be telecast on weekends at 1930 hrs from June 7.
