Mumbai, May 21 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians captain today admitted that his side failed at the crunch moments to stamp their authority which resulted in their one-run loss at the hands of the King's XI Punjab side here.

Speaking to the mediapersons after losing a close match, Tendulkar today said ''We had the match in the bag, but somehow managed to lose our way. The turning point I think was be my dismissal,'' he said, adding ''the run out are something which we will have to look into.'' He, however, in his side's defense said that ''sometimes it is difficult to hear calls in the middle when you have a full house. These things happen. But we will be addressing the issue soon.'' Sachin also praised the youngsters in the team, especially Abhishek Nayar, who he said has gone from strength to strength in the tournament.

On his decision to not give Shaun Pollock his full quota of four overs, Sachin said, ''Shaun was feeling a bit of stiff in the back and therefore we decided against bowling him.'' Sachin also refused to comment on the umpiring, especially the third umpire where a few decisions could have gone Mumbai Indians way.

''Under ICC rules we are not allowed to talk about the umpiring, but I would only say that everybody has seen the umpiring today and they can decide for themselves,'' he added.

The Mumbai Indians icon player also felt happy with his batting form. ''It is not easy coming back from injury and I feel now that I am getting back into my grove. Yes it was satisfying to get my first half century in the IPL,'' he added.

On the changes in the team today, Sachin said, ''we thought the wicket would help the spinners a bit, therefore we included two spinners in Vikrant Yelligati and Siddharth Chitnis.'' UNI GS RAR DB2120
