New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) The country's largest private telecom operator Bharti Airtel today signed a three-year outsourcing agreement with global BPO services provider Firstsource Solutions to enhance quality of customer services.
According to a statement, Firstsource will provide a suite of BPO services covering both voice and backoffice in areas such as customer accounting, VAS provisioning, fraud and credit monitoring, customer service, collections and customer retention to Airtel from its centres in Chennai and Mumbai.
Firstsource will set up centres in Vashi, New Bombay and Chennai for Airtel and expects to provide services in English and eight other regional languages to Airtel's customers.
Currently, Airtel has world class strategic BPO partners like Aegis, Firstsource, Hinduja TMT (HTMT), IBM Daksh, Mphasis and Teleperformance, who aim to enhance quality of customer service delivery to over 66 million Airtel customers across the country.
