2 drown, another killed and seven injured in Kashmir accidents
Srinagar May 21 (UNI) Two people were drowned and another killed and seven injured in Kashmir overnight, official sources said.
They said a 23-year-old Mohammad Amin a conductor, was drowned in Wachi Nalla, in south Kashmir district of Pulwama when he was taking a bath. Efforts were to recover the body.
Sources said the body of 12-year-old Raheel Ahmad Khabay was recovered from a canal at Shahama Alasteang.
A vehicle hit and critically injured one Mohammad Latief Lohar at Aripora Zewan. However, he died before he could be shifted to hospital.
Six passengers were wounded when a truck collided with a car near Sangam on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. The injured were hospitalised.
A labourer was injured when he was hit by a stone during quarry at Awantipora. He was later hospitalised.
