We don't want to leave Kashmir problem for next generation: Zardari
Islamabad, May 20 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today met Pakistani political leaders and told them that India was keen to carry forward the peace process.
Mr Mukherjee, who arrived here this afternoon to have talks with his Pakistani counterpart Mahmood Qureshi, met PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari.
Later Mr Zardari told newspersons that PPP wanted to resolve all outstanding issues with India and they did not want to leave the Kashmir problem for the next generation.
''We have interest in solving the issues that divide us in a cooperative relationship,'' he said, while recalling the historic relationship the PPP had with the Congress.
The External Affairs Minister also expressed his condolences to Mr Zardari on the assassination of PPP leader and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
