Rocket attacks on Peshawar govt officials' residences, no damage
Peshawar, May 20 : Two rockets were fired at the residences of an intelligence official and a WADPA (Water and Power Development Authority) official last evening, though no loss of life and property was reported.
While the first rocket landed in the lawn of an intelligence official's house located on the Mall road in Cant area, the other landed in the house of a WAPDA official on Jalil road near PF Cinema, The News quoted Peshawar SSP Peshawar Muhammad Imtiaz Shah as saying.
There was no loss of life in both rocket attacks, he confirmed.
SSP Peshawar said that initial investigation showed that rockets were fired from the Bara area.
Panic gripped the city soon after the incident and security was beefed up, added the report.
